- This fundamental project is under the control of not only the Prime Minister, but also the President of the country. We have allocated 38 billion tenge for the infrastructure necessary for this project. However, it is not implemented, and this is quite frustrating. At today's meeting, we are ready to listen to you, discuss the existing issues on the implementation of the project, " A. Batalov said.
The project was presented by the Deputy project Manager of the company "Surbana Jurong" Joshi Shrina.
- The G4 City project will be a fundamental project that will become a new strategic point in Central Asia. At this stage, we have outlined 8 specific steps for the high-quality implementation of the project, - said the representative of the company.
According to D. Shrin, in this project, the city will be an independent object in all respects, combining a financial and business, educational and scientific medical center, an industrial, trade and logistics hub, an attractive tourist point, a favorable residential area, a safe and smart city with a developed infrastructure. In this regard, the Singaporeans have developed a list of strategic proposals. Among them are a number of proposals for the liberalization of the visa regime, granting the status of a special economic zone, the creation of an investment residence, currency control, and the construction of an international airport.
After listening carefully to the presentation, the head of the region, Amandyk Batalov, expressed support for the development of strategic proposals.
- Of course, the concept is not a detailed planning project. Nevertheless, the concept is a document that allows you to present this important project to the Government. The Akimat of Almaty region and the Caspian Group JSC are interested in the Government's adoption of an appropriate decision for the successful implementation of the fundamental project, which will mark the beginning of a new stage of socio-economic development, " Amandyk Batalov said.
As it was noted, the construction of three 9-storey buildings with an area of 13 thousand square meters has begun on the territory where the city of Gate City will be located. According to the representative of the construction company Victor Li, it is planned to build ten 9-storey houses with a total area of 40 thousand square meters. So far, three of them are under construction. It is planned that it will accommodate about 1300 people. The draft design includes all the landscaping work, including children's playgrounds, workout areas, and much more. Li appealed to the head of the region with a request to activate the work of facilities that will connect all the necessary infrastructure to residential buildings by the end of the year.
In turn, Amandyk Batalov instructed to simultaneously develop projects for the construction of socially significant facilities on this territory, such as a kindergarten, a school, and a mini-medical outpatient clinic. In addition, he instructed to designate appropriate places for placing shopping facilities that provide residents with food and everything they need. After discussing the introduction of engineering infrastructure with the heads of the relevant industries, he gave the necessary instructions. The head of the region also noted that when G4 City is put into operation, it will become an important, economically attractive area not only for the region, but also for the country as a whole, so I am glad that work has begun to take active measures for its high-quality implementation.
