So, during the presentation of architectural projects, representatives of the company "Nova City" told about the project of construction of a residential complex for 1,200 apartments in the style of new urbanism. The construction is divided into 2 stages. If construction starts in June this year, the first stage will be completed in December 2022, and the second-in June 2024. The complex will be represented by 16-storey or multi-storey buildings with the division of the courtyard territory into quiet and noisy zones, that is, there will be sports grounds, and places for quiet walks, and active recreation. The areas of the first floors of the buildings are planned to be provided for the placement of social facilities, shops and cafeterias. This project received the support of the akim of the region. "We need such modern residential complexes, where all the conditions for comfortable living will be created," A. Batalov said.
The head of the region also approved the project of reconstruction of the lighting system of the cottage town.
As representatives of the company "Salman" told, now in the cottage town 891 ordinary street lamps are installed, but despite the number, there is not enough lighting. After the reconstruction and implementation of the smart external lighting control system, the number of lamps will be reduced to 537, while the quality of lighting will improve significantly and the volume of electricity consumption will be reduced by almost 50 percent.
"Proceed to the implementation of this necessary project, and then continue to work together with the mayor's office of the city on other projects for the reconstruction of street lighting, where necessary. We are also interested in architectural lighting projects, " the governor of the region said.
Amandyk Batalov also noted the importance of reconstructing the facades of residential buildings, but taking into account the existing architectural appearance of the houses and the various extensions available to them: "For example, when we built block-modular boiler houses in the city of Talgar, we simultaneously repaired the courtyards of multi-storey buildings. Now they repair the roof and paint the facades. We're putting everything in order. This project has become an exemplary one. It is also necessary to carry out this work in the regional center."
Famous sculptor and caster Mirlan Azmaganbetov presented a number of his creative projects. Among them are a new fountain, various small architectural forms and a camel caravan with drivers. The governor of the region proposed to place a camel caravan next to the road in the "ring" area, near the new Olympic swimming pool under construction.
During the meeting, the governor of the region also approved the project of a modern fair pavilion, for the construction of which he instructed to find an investor. The facade of the music school, located in the central part of the city, is also planned to be completely renovated. The project of a monument dedicated to medical workers fighting the pandemic was also discussed. It is planned to place it near the infectious diseases hospital. Projects of a new kindergarten, a sports complex, and an extension to a medical college were also presented, each of which Amandyk Batalov instructed to finalize and re-submit for approval.
In general, all the presented projects are aimed at improving the architectural appearance of the regional center and creating favorable conditions for its residents. At the same time, architects and designers agree that the city should be decorated with art objects that symbolize the features of Zhetysu. These are fountains in the form of waterfalls, and huge poppies with modern materials, and, most importantly, green spaces, especially fruit and berry trees.
