The fight against coronavirus is the task of every person

Since April 26, Kazakhstan has started vaccination with the domestic QazVac vaccine.
The fight against coronavirus is the task of every person

"The first batch of the QazVac vaccine has arrived in the regions of the country. The production of the vaccine will be increased to make it available to all citizens. Kazakhstan has become one of the few countries that have created their own vaccine. I thank the scientists and all the specialists who participated in its development, " President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev wrote on Twitter.
Scientists and specialists of the Research Institute of Biological Safety Problems worked on the creation of QazVac. The domestic vaccine is included in the register of the World Health Organization. Its complete safety has been proven, and it forms a strong immunity against coronavirus infection. The advantage of an inactivated vaccine is that it does not cause vaccine-associated diseases. In addition, vaccination with QazVac is similar to vaccination with Sputnik V. The person will have to come to the vaccination center, undergo a doctor's examination, fill out a questionnaire, and then be able to receive a vaccine injection. The second dose will be available in 21 days. Methods of delivery of the QazVac vaccine do not require complex refrigeration systems, they are transported in a refrigerator at a temperature of + 2-8 degrees. Kazakhstanis who want to be vaccinated against coronavirus will receive a choice of the Sputnik V vaccine (developed by Russian scientists) or the domestic QazVac.
The Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Alexey Tsoi, was one of the first to be vaccinated with Kazakhstan's QazVac coronavirus vaccine. "Now there are clear schedules for each region, the vaccine has been received in Western Kazakhstan and a new batch is received every day or two, there should be no shortage. The citizens saw that the vaccine was safe. Every 20th citizen of Kazakhstan has been vaccinated, the pace is good, our task is to provide an opportunity. Citizens themselves understand that this is the only way to get out of isolation, " he said after the vaccination. "The first batch of the vaccine is produced in our Institute for Biosafety problems in limited series: our institute can independently produce 50 thousand doses, which it does. And these are the doses that we received in Kazakhstan, they have now been received in all regions. In the future, we are considering various sites for scaling up: these are the sites of our Turkish partners, including, we are currently completing our own plant, which is located in the village of Gvardeysky and now it is going through all the stages of equipment installation and further launch. Therefore, we are considering various sites for the production of our Kazakh vaccine," he added.
Four thousand units of the domestic QazVac vaccine have arrived at the Taldykorgan regional hospital. This is the first batch produced at the plant located in the Almaty region. "The domestic vaccine differs from others in that the temperature regime is maintained from two to +8 degrees, which is particularly acceptable for logistical purposes. This vaccine is inactivated, developed by Kazakh scientists, " Deputy head of the regional health Department Arman Dzhansengirov said during the receipt of the vaccine batch.
In our city there is a mobile vaccination center, which is located on the Arbat near the Central Market, at the moment they are vaccinated with the Russian vaccine "Sputnik V". Anyone who wants to get a vaccine can come there and get vaccinated for free. In the mobile vaccination center, medical workers also conduct an initial examination of the patient, only after that the doctor either allows the patient to be vaccinated, or not. Among those who came to the vaccination were many people of retirement age, one of them – Albina Konstantinovna Shcherbashina. She is already 80 years old. "Despite my age, I came to the vaccination myself, as people of my age already have weakened immunity, and we are at risk, so in order not to put myself in danger, I decided to come to the vaccination." Following the example of the older generation, a young girl Aidana Galymbek also came for vaccination.
Every person who comes for vaccination contributes to the fight against coronavirus.
With any vaccination, side effects are possible, because the drug is injected into the body, which has antigenic properties, it affects the immune system. Usually, acute reactions are associated with allergies, that is, with a reaction to a particular component of the vaccine. Vaccines are not dangerous to health. The development of immunity to the antigen requires the activation of the immune response, which is accompanied by fever, weakness, headache and muscle pain, as well as other symptoms of intoxication. To reduce the severity of side effects, you need to drink more water (tea, mors), limit physical activity, do not visit places with a large crowd of people, do not overcool and do not overheat. After vaccination, you must wear a mask. Anyone can get the vaccine, with the exception of those groups that are contraindicated by the vaccine – pregnant and nursing mothers, children under 18 years of age, people with serious diseases. You can get vaccinated in several places: in a polyclinic at the place of residence; in a vaccination center without reference to the place of residence. From the documents, you must have an identity card with you.
At the moment, 3,500 people have been vaccinated with the first component of the vaccine in the city, and 296 with the second component. The Tekeli people also began to be vaccinated with Kazakhstan's QazVac vaccine.
