Deputy akim of the region Zhenis Tuyakov presented the draft Development Program of Almaty region for 2021-2025 to the deputies. It will be a document aimed at ensuring high-quality and sustainable growth of the region's economy over the next 5 years.
In his speech, zh.Tuyakov briefly focused on the implementation of the previous program for 2016-2020, noting that last year, with the support of the state, we achieved good economic indicators. This year, measures will be taken to maintain the same growth rate.

Speaking about the course of the past elections, the activity of the population, the contribution of the elections to the development of democracy, he noted that the new composition of Deputies of the maslikhat today includes 37 deputies from the Nur Otan Party, and 4 deputies from each of the "Auyl" and "PRP" parties. Representatives of such important industries as industry, agriculture, education, small and medium-sized businesses are also included in the new composition. The requirement for a quota of 30% of places for women is also observed. The new composition includes representatives of young people, which is 16.6%.

Zhamal Kulakhmetova, who was a member of the previous convocation, and Zhalgaskhan Donbayev, who was a member of the 7th convocation, also spoke on behalf of the deputies and expressed good wishes to their colleagues.
It should be noted that the deputies of the previous sixth convocation made 341 decisions on the budget, administrative - territorial structure, use of Natural Resources, housing and communal services in the period from 2016 to 2021. 21 amendments and additions were made to the regional budget for 2016-2020. He made 6 necessary changes and additions to the development program of Almaty region for 2016-2020. He sent 86 deputy requests to local executive bodies regarding the problems of the population of the region, which contributed to the adoption of positive decisions on them.
