In this regard, with the support of the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Almaty region and the akimat of Ili district, a mural dedicated to two Kazakh Sages was built in the village of Utegen batyr.
On the facade of the House No. 19 on S. Koldasov Street, a giant painting of the great Kazakh poet, composer, founder of Kazakh written literature Abay Kunanbayev was painted. On the mural is written the noble word of the sage "go slowly, clearly, to the steppe, where your work does not leave", which makes a person wise at every step. This mural was built on the eve of the 175th anniversary of Hakim.
The second mural depicts the image of the great Kazakh scientist, one of the first representatives of Democratic, educational culture born in Kazakhstan in the second half of the XIX century, Orientalist, historian, folklorist, ethnographer, geographer, educator Shokan Valikhanov on the wall of a multi-storey residential building located on Abay Street No. 23. The mural is based on the word of wisdom of the educator, which has a deep educational content: "there is no one in the world better than the one who gave birth to justice and honesty."
Such events are designed to change the consciousness of the population, form an anti-corruption culture, and educate a humane generation, head of the Anti-Corruption Department of Almaty region Yernar Makazhanov said.
Undoubtedly, the activity of every citizen of Kazakhstan in the fight against offenses and corruption will improve the situation in the country.
