On November 11, the first batch of Komirnati (Pfizer) coronavirus vaccine was delivered to the city of Taldykorgan, 46,800 doses arrived.

The delivered doses will make it possible to advance in the completion of mass vaccination of the population of Kazakhstan.
We would like to remind you that this is the sixth vaccine registered in Kazakhstan. Starting from 11/15/2021, it will be available for vaccination in all districts and cities of the Almaty region.
The received doses will be intended only for vaccination of pregnant women from 16 to 37 weeks of pregnancy, nursing mothers, as well as children and adolescents aged 12 to 18 years.
Due to the fact that this vaccine has a special contingent to work with, we decided to answer frequently asked questions about the Pfizer vaccine.
1. Can a parent be present at the vaccination of a child? How will it be checked if there is consent?
Any preventive vaccination, including vaccination against CVI, is carried out only with the informed consent of parents for vaccination.
If desired, parents can attend the vaccination of their children both in the polyclinic and at school.
2. How safe is Pfizer vaccine? Does she have certificates, publications?
The Komirnati vaccine, manufactured by Pfizer (USA), has a temporary state registration in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Komirnati vaccine is included in the WHO list recommended for use in emergency situations.
3. What complications can a child have?
1) often (up to 10%): pain, swelling at the injection site, fatigue, headache and muscle pain, joint pain, chills, diarrhea, fever, redness at the injection site, nausea, vomiting;
2) infrequently (up to 1%): enlarged lymph nodes, malaise, arm pain, insomnia, itching at the injection site;
3) rarely (up to 0.1%): allergic reactions such as rash, urticaria;
4. How will the child be monitored after vaccination?
After the introduction of the vaccine, medical supervision is carried out in the first 30 minutes.
Subsequently, medical monitoring is carried out over the next 3 days by calling parents or legal representatives of vaccinated adolescents.
