The event was organized by the Anti-Corruption Service of the Almaty region within the framework of the Adal Komek project. They provided free legal advice - representatives of local executive bodies of the region, the police department, the Department of Emergency Situations, representatives of the Chamber of legal consultants of the region, the head of the project office "Zhetysu adaldyk alany", members of the special monitoring group at the DAPK of the region.
The issues were different – on tax payments, legalization of property, payment of social benefits, disputes with banks, land plots, relations with the traffic police and payment of fines, etc.
The visitors noted that they had received really competent consultations that have practical value and will be implemented in the near future. Also, many people, after communicating with a specialist, have a more or less clear picture of how to proceed, where exactly to start and how to finish solving their question as soon as possible. Therefore, they all expressed great gratitude to both the experts and the organizers of the event for being able to provide people with the opportunity to receive free legal assistance. After all, not everyone has the financial opportunity to turn to a lawyer for advice, or to consult within the same platform with representatives of several public authorities at once.
Summing up, we can say that thanks to the event "People's Lawyer", where a well-coordinated interaction of representatives of private and state structures was organized, whose representatives were at a distance of several steps from each other, each visitor of the event had the opportunity to solve his question or problem in a complex and get full legal advice.
