"The new economic course of our country should be based on seven basic principles: fair distribution of benefits and responsibilities, the leading role of private entrepreneurship, fair competition, opening markets for a new generation of entrepreneurs, productivity growth, increasing the complexity and technology of the economy, human capital development, investment in a new type of education, "greening" the economy, environmental protection, the adoption of informed decisions by the state and responsibility for them to society", – Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said, noting that the economy must work to improve the welfare of the people.
At the beginning of the event, librarian N.A. Grebenyuk briefly introduced the
main provisions of the Message "Unity of the people and systemic reforms are a solid foundation for the prosperity of the country." She noted that it sets specific tasks to ensure high-quality economic growth and improve the standard of living of the population.
During the event, 7 key directions of the Address were named, as well as five important initiatives of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, aimed primarily at improving the welfare of all Kazakhstanis, were announced.
