The award ceremony was attended by adviser to the minister of Culture and sports Yerlan Zhurinbayev and chairman of the International Abay Foundation Yermek Beisembayev. He expressed his gratitude to the citizens who showed good training in the year of Abay and took an active part in promoting the poet's work.
Dosym Kairbekuly has been studying the heritage of Abay and Shakarim for more than 30 years. He published several books aimed at popularizing Abay's work among young people. The textbook "Abaytanu", "Course of Abaytanu", "Spiritual heritage of Abay", "Ways to use the heritage of Abay", "Harmony of the great", as well as textbooks, which today complement the spiritual teachings and knowledge of the reader.
