Karabulak OPEN 2021 tournament was held in eskeldinsky district

An offline chess tournament "KARABULAK OPEN 2021" dedicated to the 30th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in the sports and Recreation Complex of Karabulak village, eskeldinsky district. The event was attended by 120 people from Tajikistan, Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Aktau, Atyrau and districts of Almaty region. Out of 120 participants, 44 are citizens of Eskeldinsky district.

The tournament was held with the support of the public Association" Federation of checkers and chess of Almaty region and Taldykorgan".
The champion of Kazakhstan in 2019, Grandmaster Nurlan Ibraev and international-class Judge Kim Sergey were invited to judge the tournament.
The first move in the offline chess tournament "KARABULAK OPEN 2021" was given to the mayor of Eskeldinsky district Rustam Ali. The head of the region congratulated the participants on the 30th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and wished them success in the competition.
"Our main goal is to teach our young people the tactics of strategic planning through the game of chess, patience and self-determination to take a place in the right direction. Undoubtedly, the sports game of chess will give our young people a great impetus in the future,"Rustam Ali said.
The competition was held on several levels. It was held among teenagers and adults under the age of 10-14 years.
At the end of the competition, the winners were awarded with letters of thanks and cash prizes.
