Kazakhstan is confidently and successfully following the path of civil integration of people of different ethnic origins and faiths. This is evidenced by the fact that not a single ethnic group in our country has chosen a strategy of isolation, has not raised the question of its special ethnic status. On the contrary, people of different ethnic origins are proud of their belonging to the citizens of Kazakhstan, making a significant contribution to its development.
It is especially important that Kazakhstan appears to the international community as a single integral state, in which there are no problems of separatism and threats of disintegration.
We can safely say that the policy of peace and harmony in Kazakhstan
in the practical plane proved that the unity of the people is not an abstract, abstract category, but a powerful factor of statehood, which also has a tangible economic dimension.
Over the past years, Kazakhstan has created legislative, state-management, public and other institutional mechanisms to strengthen social harmony and national unity.
Spiritual continuity, mutual respect, tolerance, development of culture and languages of all ethnic groups living in Kazakhstan - these are the factors that make up the unity of the country. The friendship of ethnic groups is an invaluable asset of our country and it is very important that this asset will last for all generations and for all times. From the very first steps of a sovereign state, the main task was considered to be the need to turn stability in social and political life into a stable consolidating factor and an enduring friendship of peoples. He teaches us to love our people, our Kazakhstan, to study the national history, the national code, rallying around the Kazakh people.
Today, a new stage in the development of Kazakhstan's model of social harmony and national unity has come. The world does not stand still, our lives are changing, the agenda is changing, but with all the turns of state and public life, the issue of preserving the unity of society will remain one of the key ones.
I would like to tell you about the five main principles of Kazakhstan's model of social harmony and national unity.
The first principle. Ethnic, religious, cultural, and linguistic diversity is our priceless wealth. It forms the ideological, moral, and spiritual basis of our society, and constantly gives society new forces for development.
The second principle. The state purposefully creates all conditions for the development of the culture and languages of the ethnic groups of Kazakhstan.
The third principle. Tolerance and responsibility have become the most important values of our nation.
The fourth principle is the consolidating role of the Kazakh ethnic group. The Kazakh people have always been an integrator. It should remain the core that consolidates our society in the future. And this imposes a special responsibility on the Kazakh people for the future of the country.
The fifth principle-the unity of the Kazakh people-is reflected in the name of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan. Our Constitution begins with the words: "We are the people of Kazakhstan, united by a common historical destiny."
Of course, I would like to say that young people are the generation on which the future fate of our State depends. Throughout the world community, young people are considered as the most important subject of social change, as a moral barometer of society, as a huge, innovative force and strategic resource. And therefore, we are not indifferent to the level of formation of national identity and, accordingly, patriotism and citizenship among the current youth.
