On the busiest route in the Valley of Castles, 3 free drinking fountains are installed for visitors, located on the upper observation deck, in the middle of the route and near the river itself. These fountains will allow tourists to meet the need for drinking water. Underground containers made of food-grade plastic with a capacity of 3 thousand liters each are replenished with drinking water extracted from a well in the village of Chunja. Inside the structure, the water undergoes a multi-stage purification with 2 UV lamps and four filters. Each fountain is equipped with 2 taps – for drinking and for collecting water in personal bottles and various containers of tourists. The structures are provided with electricity thanks to solar panels.
There are also rest points along the upper route, where anyone can stop for a short rest. There are two viewing platforms with gazebos with benches, as well as a gazebo located near the parking lot. 3 grottoes are located along the lower route "Valley of Castles", so that tourists can hide from the sun or precipitation and take a break. Benches are also installed inside the grottoes and natural ventilation is provided, which allows to ventilate the structure. The shape and color scheme of the grottoes is made in accordance with the environment.
There are 2 steles in the park, a large sign at the entrance to the canyon and another one in front of the checkpoint, 12 information boards with information about the origin of the canyon, its flora, fauna and climate, 2 information boards are installed at each grotto, along the lower path "Valley of Castles", and 1 – at the Charyn River, they will tell tourists about historical facts. In addition, the parking lot has an information board and 11 signs indicating the distance to infrastructure facilities, as well as 12 warning signs on dangerous sections of routes.
Also, latrines and new toilets were installed for the comfort of visitors, where options for low-mobility groups of the population are provided. They are installed on the upper and lower routes. Eco-friendly " dry " toilets are installed inside the toilets, which, thanks to special technology, do not require the use of additional water, which allows you to significantly save water resources. Bins with the option of separate garbage collection are also installed, which will allow creating behavioral habits of tourists for its separate collection.
All the established tourist and recreational facilities were built on private investments, the funds of the republican and local budgets are not used. Recall that in March of this year, the NGO "QazaqGeography" took part in a tender for the improvement of the territory of the Charyn State National Natural Park and received the right to long-term use of certain sections of the national park for the construction of tourist and recreational facilities. The area of the provided plots is 4.9 hectares, while the total area of the State Enterprise "Charyn" is 127,050 hectares. The Charyn State Unitary Enterprise is not transferred to the management of private individuals and continues to be owned by the state. The granting of the right of long-term use does not entail an increase in the cost of payment for entry or travel to the territory of the State Enterprise "Charyn" for kazakhstanis. The official payment for entry to the territory of the State Enterprise "Charyn" will be received as before to the settlement account of the state National Park.
