The main purpose of their implementation is to identify the best world practices of professional training of young people and introduce them into the system of technical and vocational education of the Republic of Kazakhstan; to increase the status of a person of labor and the prestige of technical professions.
Participation in the project generates a competitive spirit and develops healthy competition, which has a positive effect on improving the professional level of specialists and the image of the educational institution.
Since 2016, the Tekeli Professional College has begun to actively participate in the Worldskills Professional skill championships in various competencies. And every year, college students achieve certain success.
From June 1 to June 12, 2021, the WorldSkills Taldykorgan regional professional skill competitions were held on the basis of various colleges in the region.
The 3rd-year student Kun Rostislav took part in the professional championship on the competence of Electrical installation work and, having shown good theoretical training and demonstrated his professional skills, took 1st place and received a prize of 50,000 tenge.
Amankeldyuly Kudaiberdi represented the college on the competence of Welding technologies and also took 1st place and received a cash prize of 50,000 tenge.
The contestants performed complex technological tasks, showed the ability and skills in the possession of machinery, equipment, tools, technology. I would like to note that last year, according to these competencies, our students were also the best in the field, which indicates good training in these specialties.
For the first time this year, our college, having taken part in the championship on the competence of Repair and maintenance of passenger cars, has achieved success. The 3rd-year student Kuanbai Meirzhan, despite the complexity of the competitive tasks, won the medallion "For professionalism" and received a prize of 15 thousand tenge
Such a result is the painstaking work of the entire college team. It is not for nothing that one of the main directions of the strategic development of the college is "Improving the performance at the WorldSkills Kazakhstan professional Skills Championships", within the framework of which it is planned to improve the skills of teachers taking into account WorldSkills standards, cooperation, including international, with Professional Competence Centers, attracting social partners for the preparation of contestants, participation in the project "Zhas Maman", etc.
